1.  God wants me to receive

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?  (Luke 11:13) 

2.  God simply wants me to ask!

3.  Believe that you’ve received

Or what man is there of you, whom, if his son asks bread, will he give him a stone? (Matt. 7:9)

4.  Confess with your lips

“In my Name… they will speak with new tongues…”  (Mark 16:17)
