For the past two weeks we have focused on how to live @ Harvest Time:

1. Stay Focused, sterizo

2.  Stay Sweet, makrothymia

This week we will look at the third component for successful living at harvest time:

Stay Strong, the Greek hypomeno

Hypmeno = to stay

It means:

  • stand fast
  • hold your ground
  • stay resolute
  • to have a tenacious spirit

How can we stay strong?

3.1 Stay strong in the faith that God is good

He gives and takes away, blessed be the Name of the Lord. Job 1:20

He loves you, no matter what

There are spiritual realities to your situation

He is worthy of your praise, no matter what

3.2 Stay strong in the faith that God is working it all out for your good.

He knows the way that I take; and when He has tried me I shall come forth as gold. Job 23:10

God has not abandoned you!

Jesus is interceding for you

God is not punishing you, He’s purifying you

3.3 Stay strong in faith until the better end!

You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen the end that the Lord brought about. James 5:11

Have faith that you will live to see it

Have faith that your end belongs to the Lord

Have faith that He will give you double for the trouble!
